Hey! I'm NATALIE. I’VE SPENT OVER A DECADE FIGURING OUT HOW TO NOURISH MY BODY SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO.

Former under-eater and over-exerciser, turned food lover and body peacemaker. I spent over a decade personally fighting through eating disorders, negative body image, anxiety & depression, amenorrhea and IBS. Needless to say, my gut and hormones were out of whack. I didn’t have many outside positive relationships because I couldn’t quite figure out how to mend the one with myself.

Over 12 years of restrictive diets, “superfood” shakes, veganism, vegetarianism, being overweight, being underweight, not having a period, having horribly painful periods, working out excessively, IBS, expensive supplements, debilitating migraines, brittle nails, and complete distaste & obsession with my body has brought me here.

I went back to the basics, learning about human biology, anatomy, nutritional therapy and psychology. Over years of personal experience, combined with hundreds of hours of research, here is a place where I am so in love the daily practice of implementing my personal vision of physical and mental health. 💚

how did i do it, you ask?

After years of depleting my body of nutrients from low-calorie “diet” foods, purging, over-exercising and not enough body fat, I felt weak and like I lost a war with my body. If I hated myself even at my thinnest, how would I ever find acceptance, peace and happiness with myself? I started looking deeper than 21 day fitness challenges, fad diets and miracle supplements. I started mending my relationship with self internally, through personal development books and podcasts. I started coaching others to follow simple fitness programs and adopt a more nutrient dense diet. I became a cycling & Lagree instructor and personal trainer, and learned how to functionally train AND recover.

In 2020, I decided to take it a step further and truly learn about the science behind nutrition. I became an NTP and adopted a nutrient dense diet, where I allow myself ALL foods. I started focusing on digestion, minerals, sleep and stress management. I actually started eating properly sourced meat again after 10 years. And you know what happened? My period cramps lessened, my energy started to soar, I was feeling stronger in my workouts and building muscle, my libido shot way up, my nails grew thicker, and I started to see my body in a positive light - as a vehicle for all the incredible things I wanted to do and experience, in this one shot we have at life. I no longer view my body as something dubbed “worthy” only if it’s a size 2.

After years of struggling with how to properly nourish my body, I became dedicated to helping other women ditch the yo-yo diet mentality and make peace with their bodies, while also unlocking the limitless potential they have for their lives. Personal experience is my most valuable asset, but here are some other, more formal qualifications.

FUN FACTS

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, went to school in Chicago, and currently reside in St. Louis. #MidwestForLife.
I have a cat with 24 toes (most have 18).
I was a vegetarian from age 19 until 30. I now enjoy all foods of every kind.
I played sports growing up and am a chick who actually enjoys watching them!
My favorite cuisine is Italian (I lived in Rome for 6 months!).
I’m a Cancer sun, Capricorn moon, Libra Rising. those who get it, get it ;)
